How to quieten your mind
As I embarked on the journey of writing my first blog entry, I was confronted with a myriad of uncertainties. I scoured the internet for a framework, a concept, and a design that would guide me towards creating a remarkable blog entry. Yet, I found myself grappling with some fundamental questions. Questions like, ‘What is the purpose of my blog? What do I want to achieve with it? Who am I writing for? What value can I provide to my readers?’ These uncertainties were not just about the technical aspects of blogging but also about my words’ more profound meaning and impact.
I was still determining my motivation and the intended audience, and I was unsure what to write about, how to convey my thoughts effectively, and whether it was worth starting a blog without a clear focus. Was there even a point to it all?
Then, I let go and found myself in a moment of pure awareness. I sipped my warm peppermint tea and looked at the flowing Thames River. Its rhythmic flow and gentle lapping waves soothed my restless mind. In the silence, a quiet and beautiful voice spoke to me:
"Be still. Be present. Be here and now."
And so I was.
